SQUADRONS
IN THE CA-20068^ CADET GROUP
OPERATIONS SQUADRON
In short, the Operations Squadron is responsible for the day-to-day management and “operation” of Cadet Corp. This part of Cadet Corp is run during our school’s normal 6-period schedule with one additional period added on for Special Teams before school. Each of the periods throughout the day is assigned a flight, A Flight, B Flight, etc. In these flights, cadets learn both principles of leadership and the most up-to-date information on aerospace technology. In these flights, the Flight Commander and Flight Sergeant are responsible for the behavior, discipline, inspection grades, and their flight’s participation in the Cadet Corps.

SPECIAL TEAMS SQUADRON
A special team is a dedicated group of cadets who volunteer their free time towards creating, perfecting, and performing their team's tasks. These tasks vary from team to team. Drill practices with mock rifles, performing some extremely intricate and detailed drill movements to show off at competitions and public events. The unarmed Drill team performs drill movements without rifles by using their hands and feet to make complex beats and rhythms to accompany their performance. Sabre Team performs with the highest level of discipline and trust as they practice using steel sabers in their performances. Color Guard takes pride in protecting and presenting our nation and state flag in the best possible manner. These are just a few examples of some of the Special Teams that are a part of the CA-20068 Cadet Group. For more information see each team’s page in the menu above.
